I know… there may be snow on the ground, ice on the windshield, and the wind chill factor might be “way too cold”…but Spring Break is less than a month away for us.  And that means I need a plan!  Because fun during Spring Break is high on my kids’ priority list!  My solution?  Spring Break BINGO!

We are hanging around here during spring break… so what do I do with these hooligans to keep them happy and me sane?

The key around here is a flexible plan!  And one that’s not too hard for me…because I need a break too!

One of my favorite ways to create a flexible plan is with this Spring Break BINGO!

Spring Break BINGO Supplies

I’ve kept it easy…but here are some items to have on hand!

  • card game
    • favorites for younger ones are UNO and Skip-Bo Jr
    • a favorite for older kiddos is Unstable Unicorns and Exploding Kittens!
  • slime (or gak) ingredients  (glue, borax, food coloring)…see how to make it here
  • blocks (Duplo or wooden blocks for younger kiddos.  Legos or KNex for older kids)
  • seeds and planting supplies (herbs, sunflowers, I’ve also purchased Garden Republic kits on Amazon)
  • cornstarch (learn how to make your Goop here)
  • crayons, coloring pencils
  • popcorn, paper bags, oil, salt (make your own microwave popcorn!)
  • board game (Some of my favorites for youngers are Monopoly Jr,and Clue Jr,  Some favorites for older kids are Splendor, Catan, Space Base, and Ticket to Ride,)
  • sidewalk chalk
  • bubbles
  • puzzle (I love Dowdle 100 piece puzzles…not too hard or too easy for my younger boys!  But I personally like the 500 piece puzzles that take a few days to finish)
  • baking soda and vinegar (Here is an easy way to make your volcano…make sure you have aluminum foil, a paper plate, and a paper or plastic cup)

My youngest has already discovered my Spring Break BINGO Box!  And he is so excited!  Just throw everything in a box (maybe the Amazon box that some of your supplies are going to come in!)  It will be easier for me to keep them all together.  (I got my bubble machine at the end of summer last year on clearance!  Keep your eyes open for great end of season deals!)

Make it Happen!
